BidVertiser

BidVertiser is an online advertising network offering site-targeted pay-per-click (PPC) text ads and image ads on our website or our web pages. The company was launched in 2003 by B path and provides site-targeted ads where advertisers can select categories of websites for their advertisement to appear. The system is different from automated keyword-based ads placement that Google AdSense and Overture (now Yahoo! Search Marketing) ran at that time. Keyword-based ads placement allow ads to appear on pages that contain keywords specified by advertisers in the title regardless of what category the main website is about. BidVertiser provides site-targeted placement by asking both advertisers and website publishers to specify categories for their ads and websites. This is to make sure an advertisement only appears in relevant websites instead of any website that has the same keywords as the ads. Since Google and Yahoo! used two different advertising services where one is just for advertisers and another is just for publishers (eg. AdWords and AdSense), BidVertiser simply combined all services for advertisers and publishers in one system.
Advertiser
Anybody can become an advertiser including eBay sellers who want to advertise their listings or eBay Stores. The system provided by BidVertiser was claimed to give advertisers complete control of their ads by allowing them to place ads directly on website categories of their choice and pay only when the ads are being clicked. Every website category is listed with the number of websites available and possibly displaying ads of the advertiser. Geographic targeting allows advertisers to specify the countries where their ads should be displayed. Since the ads are pay-per-click (PPC) model, advertisers will only have to pay for every click no matter how many websites their ads are appearing. Advertiser center shows the performance of each ads with reports for page impressions, total clicks, click-through rate (CTR), and the amount that have been spend by the advertiser. Ads performance tracker can help advertisers to analyze the performance of an ads by looking at how many clicks are converting to sales, lead, or signups on the advertiser's page. This tool is helpful to check the effectiveness and return on investment (ROI) of the ads. BidVertiser let advertisers to bid for top ads placement as being implemented by Google AdWords and also let advertisers to specify the maximum amount they are willing to pay for a single click. There is also auto-bidding to adjust cost per click to $0.01 above the nearest competitor to ensure maximum exposure for the advertisement.
Publisher
Bidvertiser allow website owners or publishers to sell their ads space automatically to the highest bidder. The ads price is mostly affected by the quality and popularity of their website and earned on a cost-per-click basis. Publishers or website owners participating with Bidvertiser will be paid for every clicks on ads displayed on their websites or web page. Publishers will have to categorize their websites so that ads that will appear on their sites are in the same categories. Bidvertiser is a good alternative contextual ad for beginners because it offers minimum payment as low as USD10 through PayPal or USD50 by check. Since advertisers bid for best ads placement, you can check the highest bidder for your website categories with the Bidvertiser Center feature. The ads management systems are really nice and organized allowing old or unused ads to be deleted. Publishers also have the option to view every advertiser’s websites and image ads and decline any ads that are not suitable to or not in the interest of the publishers. With detailed report for each ad such as clicks, click-through rate, impressions, and earnings, publishers can monitor performance of every ad and make changes whenever they want to.
Refferals 
Even though different approach is used in its system, many claims that BidVertiser ads does not perform well and have low click-through rate especially for websites with low traffic. The amount of advertisers and publishers participating with the program is also relatively small compared to other PPC advertising network therefore some publishers might not have good ads impression especially for those outside of United States. Many also claim that Bidvertiser overcharges its advertisers, especially with its notorious $20 advertiser offers, which run over budget quickly, with clicks from the same IP address and over-reporting stats. Publishers are often banned before pay date, and their clicks are often not tracked, leading to under-reported incomes. Bidvertiser keeps the profit from both sides to stay in business.
